Thin layer chromatography-spectrophotometry was used to determine the content of β-carotene in pumpkin extracted with the mixture of petroleum ether acetone (7∶3,V∶V).The precision,accuracy and stability of the method were studied.The standard linear equation was A=0.024056C-0.002464,r=0.998 with the relative standard deviation of 2.01%—4.52%.The recovery of β-carotene is in the range of 94.50%—97.20% with the detection limit of 0.5μg.

Objective To observe the effect of pumpkin extracts(PKE) on tumor-bearing mice. Methods S_ 180 -bearing mice were used as animal model. The mice were administrated pumpkin extracts orally. The effects of PKE on tumor weight, immune function and antioxidative enzyme were examined. Results PKE markedly reduced tumor weight and promoted splenic lymphocyte proliferation, natural killer cell (NK) activity. PKE enhanced phagocytosis of macrophages in S_ 180 -bearing mice. PKE increased the number of CD4 + ,CD8 + and the CD4 +/CD8 + ratio, enhanced SOD , GSH-Px activities and reduced MDA level significantly(P<0.05). Conclusion Pumpkin extracts might inhibit the growth of S_ 180 tumor. The antitumor effect may be related to its immune effect and antioxidative effect and the reduction of lipid peroxidation.

目的观察南瓜提取物的体内抗肿瘤作用。方法采用小鼠S180肉瘤建立荷瘤小鼠模型,给予南瓜提取物后观察荷瘤小鼠肿瘤生长情况及对小鼠免疫系统和抗氧化酶的影响。结果南瓜提取物具有明显的抗肿瘤作用,能够增强小鼠脾脏T淋巴细胞增殖能力,提高自然杀伤细胞(NK)活性,能够增强荷瘤小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞的吞噬功能,明显提高CD4+和CD8+T细胞的百分率及其比值,增强血清SOD、GSH-Px活性,降低MDA含量。结论南瓜提取物具有显著的抗肿瘤作用,其作用可能是通过增强免疫系统功能和抗氧化作用及降低脂质过氧化来实现的。

目的:探讨南瓜提取物对慢性苯中毒所造成的机体抗氧化系统损伤的拮抗作用。方法:将小白鼠分为正常组、苯染毒组、苯+南瓜提取物组,静式吸入染毒,60 d后,取其肝、脾、脑检测组织匀浆中超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-PX)的活性及丙二醛(MDA)的含量。结果:苯染毒组小鼠机体内SOD、GSH-PX活性均降低,MDA含量升高,南瓜提取物组小鼠机体内SOD、GSH-PX活性均升高,MDA含量降低,结论:慢性苯染毒能够对机体的抗氧化酶系统产生损伤,导致机体组织内SOD、GSH-PX活性降低,MDA含量升高。而南瓜提取物能够减轻机体的氧化损伤,增强抗氧化系统的功能。
