The present dam concrete strength grade on the hydraulic engineering is not inkeeping with that used in other lines at home and abroad. A new dam concrete strength gradesuggested by this paper accords to the national standard as well as international one. There willbe no addition of cement volume in dam construction when the new grade is applied. The conclu-sion of this paper could be used in the revision of some hydraulic specifications.
