Along with the Java technique increasingly extensive usage,the difficulty of the software development is more and more big and the development efficiency of the software has to keep up with its demand, thus the design pattern in the Java procedure development also seems to be more to aggravate to want.
The author introduces the common developing techniques of WebGIS and analyses the system and structure of Java-based WebGIS. Devoloping techniques of Java-based WebGIS is discussed including Java Applet executed on the client- end,Java servlet executed on the Web server,and access to database by JDBC.
