This paper introduces mainly the working principle and design features of the CNT type marine automatic fuel viscosity control unit. This paper introduces mainly the working principle and design features of the CNT type marine automatic fuel viscosity control unit. This unit is composed of viscosimeter, differential pressure transmitter, viscosity controller, indicator, actuator and auxiliary apparatus. Compressed air at 1.4kg/cm~2 is used as working medium of the unit with an output signal pressure of 0.2~1.0kg/cm~2. The viscosimeter is of capillary type。By tapping the fuel oil through a capillary tube, the viscosity of the fuel oil can be determined by measuring the pressure difference across tube. The differential pressure transmitter is of torgue balancetype. It is simple in construction and has no hermetically sealed components, particularly fitted for marine application. The viscosity controller is also of torgue balance type. In addition, owing to the introduction of P.I. control(proportional integral control), the static deviation can be eliminated to improve the accuracy of control. Finally, the paper gives a description of the actual effect on marine application.

本文主要介绍CNT型船用燃油粘度自动调节装置的工作原理和作为船用装置在设计上的特点。该装置由发讯、变送、调节、指示、执行机构和辅助设备等组成。装置的工作介质为1.4公斤/厘米~2的压缩空气,输出气压讯号的压力为0.2~1.0公斤/厘米~2。粘度发讯器为毛细管型,通过测量一部份被测介质(燃油)经过毛细管后产生的压差来测定被测介质的粘度。差压变送器采用力矩平衡式,结构简单,且无密封元件,特别适用于船舶。粘度调节器也是力矩平衡式,而且由于采用PI调节(比例积分调节),能消除静态偏差,提高调节精度。最后,文章介绍了该装置的实船使用数果。

This paper, in accordance with the design feature of internal involute splines, derives the formulas for max. and min. values of gage bar diameter and also formulas for roller dia, and space between adjacent rollers(including teeth thickness errors). Examples of actual application of the method are also described.
