Keeping pace with world′s development of relatively small commercial passenger aircraft, we engineers in China are trying to solve the following difficult aerodynamic problem in aircraft design: prediction of the effect of turbopropeller slipstream on aerodynamic performance of aircraft. The difficulty lies in the coupling of two vortex systems: the propeller vortex system rotating with its blades and the steady horseshoe vortex system distributed on the aircraft surface. We solved the abovementioned difficulty through very careful thinking which led to our proposal of eqs.(1) and (2).Eqs.(1) and (2) serve two purposes: (a) They make it possible to make transformation from the moving coordinate axes of propeller vortex system to the fixed coordinate axes of the aircraft body and vice versa. (b) They make it possible to make transformation of induced velocity in terms of the moving coordinate axes of propeller vortex system into that in terms of the fixed coordinate axes of aircraft body and vice versa. We took two numerical examples. Fig.2 shows that our computed results are in good agreement with the experimental data given by Favier for a French propeller/nacelle wing configuration at low subsonic speeds . The other numerical example is the Chinese aircraft Yun7 with two turbopropellers. Figs.3 through 6 show that our computed results are in good agreement with experimental data for Yun7.

提出了一种预测螺旋桨滑流对全机气动特性干扰的数值方法。采用随桨叶旋转的螺旋尾涡系与机体表面定常马蹄涡系之间的干扰为数学模型。计算对应螺桨每一方位角时两涡系对网格控制点的诱导速度及压力系数,由此得到螺桨一个旋转周期的全机气动特性的时均值。算例计算表明,本文方法所获全机升力特性、阻力特性与实验值吻合良好。俯仰力矩在小迎角无襟翼偏转时与实验值也较吻合。该方法对单发或多发螺旋桨飞机均适用。
