Saline solutions of calf thymus DNA have been heated at 100℃ for different periods and the change in viscosity followed in comparison with the changes in its affinity for two basic dyes, methyl green and pyronin. Saline solutions of calf thymus DNA have been heated at 100℃ for different periods and the change in viscosity followed in comparison with the changes in its affinity for two basic dyes, methyl green and pyronin. Under our experimental conditions, it is less likely that a molecular degradation of DNA has taken place in heat denaturation, but such treatment brought about a decrease in the quantity of methyl green bound to DNA up to about 50%. It can be inferred, therefore, that the affinity of DNA for methyl green depends, to a great extent, on the molecular spatial configuration of the former, or more concretely, on the double helix structure.The type of binding curves of methyl green by native and by some heat-denatured DNA's has been explored on the basis of a general theory of the interaction of a large polymeric molecule with small molecules.On summarizing all the results obtained a mechanism of binding of methyl green by DNA has been proposed.A competition has been observed between methyl green and pyronin in the double binding process by DNA, with the former predominating over the latter. From these results and from the difference in the chemical structures of these two dyes we may suggest that pyronin would not set up such strict claim to the molecular spatial configuration of DNA as in the case of methyl green.

在上一篇文章中。笔者提出了一种新的测量磨粒突出高度的方法,并就磨粒突出高度同砂轮磨削性能的关系进行了研究。本文探讨了结合剂密实型金刚石砂轮的修整机理,着重讨论修整时磨粒周围结合剂的会除过程。证明了去除结合剂的机制是杯形砂轮上脱落下来的GC磨粒的研磨作用。主要结论如下:(1)修整时,GC磨粒从杯形砂轮上脱落并研磨结合剂,从而产生修整效果。因此,杯形砂轮修整器在对金属结合剂金刚石砂轮进行整形的同时,也对其进行修锐。(2)控制冷却液流量使GC砂轮表面附有一层游离磨粒,可以使修整比最高。(3)只要修整次数足够多,平均磨粒突出高度只取决于修整条件。(4)游离GC磨粒的尺寸越大,研磨作用越强,因此修整比越高,平均磨粉突出高度越大。

The titanium coating on surface of diamond is obtained by physical vapor deposition (PVD) withchemical reaction. The formation of titanium carbide on surface of diamond is verified by X-ray diffraction analy-sis. Outline of interface between diamond and matrix in diamond composite based on metal cement is observed byscan electron microscope. The mechanism of binding between diamond and matrix metals is proposed.

采用反应性PVD方法在金刚石表面沉积金属钛镀层,用X射线衍射分析了镀层的成分,证实了镀层中碳化钛的生成。扫描电镜分析表明,金刚石复合体中金刚石与基体金属之间结合致密,并提出了金刚石与基体金属之间的粘结机理。
