In designing a new diesel engine,particularly during the stage of analysing and comparing various projects of a new design,it is tedious to calculate the bearing load.For this account,the author provides a simplified method for estimating the bearing load of a single row diesel engine. This method utilizes some of non-dimensional parameters and combined parameters,in order to interrelate the bearing load with parameters of working process and structure of a diesel engine. By using this method,it is easy to obtain the conditions of bearing loading,such as the polar diagram of the journal load,the rectangular co-ordinate diagram of the load,maximum load and coefficient of impact. The paper also describes how to select the size of bearing,weight of piston,balance weight, crank arrangement and firing order etc.,as to keep the bearing load within reasonable limit.

当为设计一台新柴油机而进行多种方案分析比较时,在轴承负荷的计算方面需花很大的工作量。为此,本文作者在研究了有关文献后,提出了单列式柴油机轴承负荷快速估算法。本方法是利用了一些无因次参数及综合参数,使轴承负荷同柴油机工作过程及结构的某些参数联系起来。采用本估算法后,就可以不必对每一台发动机作极繁复的轴承负荷计算,而可以根据柴油机的某些与轴承负荷有关的参数得到本估算法所需要的综合参数。然后,可据此直接查图得到它的轴承负荷情况:轴颈负荷矢量图、负荷直角坐标图、平均负荷、最大负荷及冲击系数。本文还叙述了如何选择轴承尺寸、活塞材料(指活塞重量而言),平衡重,曲柄排列以及发火顺序等与轴承负荷有关的参数,使得轴承负荷处在更适当的范围以内。最后,通过实例运算,揭示了本方法的一般误差程度,从而说明本方法在设计工作中有实际使用价值。

The theoretical specific impulse formula for two-phase flow in nozzle of rocket-ramjet engine is derived on the basis of similarity to that used for rocket engine.Theoretically,it is proved that for both these engines,the properties of two-phase flow in nozzle can be analysed with a common combined parameter which is equivalent to exhaust velocity.A simple estimation method for specific impulse losses of two-phase flow with variable lag is provided.An approximate solution dealing with the singularity is proposed....

A double film heat flux gauge is investigated theoretically and developed to measure heat flux on turbine blades or rotor stationary tip casing in turbine test facilities of short duration. The analysis shows that the heat flux is a function of the temperature histories on both sides of the gauge.
