The process of separating impregnated iron from potash feldspar has been studied in alkaline solution by JC-COP activator and enhanced leaching agent after reelection and magnetic separation, as a result, the content of Fe2O3 in potash feldspar product decreases from 4.05% to 0.1%~0.2%, and its color becomes white from pink, its quality is high, and the economic benefi t will be improved.
Na 2 O,MgO,Al 2 O 3 ,SiO 2 ,P 2 O 5 ,K 2 O,CaO,TiO 2 ,Fe 2 O 3 ,Rb,Sr,Y,Zr,Ba in sodium and potassium feldspar were analyzed by X ray fluorescence spectrometry with fusion sample preparation. The results were in agreement with those provided by chemical methods with precision of 0.10%～4.67% RSD ( n =33).
At 200~250℃, on hydrothermal-dissolving potassium feldspar with CaO as additive, in the condition of different Ca/Al+Si atom ratios, liquid/solid weight ratios, reaction temperature and reaction time, the dissolving rate of K2O from potassium feldspar and phases transformation in the solid were investigated.
The sample was prepared by the method of powder compressing. By the small size multichannel simultaneous X ray fluorescence spectrometer,the contens of SiO 2,Al 2O 3,CaO,MgO,Fe 2O 3 and K 2O,Na 2O in potassium feldspar can be measured.
