Objective To employ Blood-Oxygen-Level-Dependent (BOLD) technique of Function Magnetic Resonance Imaging to detect brain glioma and other glioma-induced braincortex dysfunctions so as to facilitate the formulation of surgery scheme, to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of surgery, and to reduce the possibility of nerve center injury in surgery.Methods Conducted dynamic functional brain imaging on 12 patients with brain glioma while they filliped the other four fingers of one hand with thumb(50 dynamics, 10 for each time; 18 slices; TR 159 seconds; interleaved with the same period of interval); then examined the coefficient of interested regions.Results Data from all the 12 patients were of significance: activated regions were all in brink areas and amic regions; brain activated regions include both primary and secondary somatosensory cortex; areas opposite to the glioma areas in 8 patients shows prominent activation; areas on the same side of the glioma areas also shows some activations.Conclusion Different fingers of left and right hand elicit different brain regions, indicating that the lost function in one damaged brain sphere may be retrieved in its opposite site of another brain sphere, which is very helpful in the for mulation of surgery scheme, to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of surgery, and to reduce the possibility of nerve center injury in surgery.

目的:利用血氧水平依赖法(BOL D)成像对患者脑胶质瘤并可能累及脑皮层功能区的患者进行功能磁共振成像(f MRI)检查,有助于外科治疗方案的制定,以提高手术的成功率和治愈率,避免重要脑功能中枢受到损伤。方法:对12例患有脑胶质瘤的患者用双手对指刺激的方法实行动态MR脑功能成像,共计5 0个动态,每次10个动态,18个层面,扫描时间为15 9s,分别间隔以等时间的静息期,检测感兴趣区正相关系数。结果:12例患者的图像采集满意,激活区均激活边缘系统,丘脑区,激活的脑功能区包括初级和次级躯体感觉区,尤以脑胶质瘤对侧激活最为显著(8例) ,同侧也有部分激活(4例)。结论:左右手对指激活特定的脑功能区,表明患者今后的恢复功能可能是对侧功能的代偿。这对外科制定手术方案,恢复的评估以及避免脑神经功能区的损伤有一定的指导意义。

Objective To observe activated changes of cerebellar subregions induced by electrical stimulation of different intensity in function magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and discuss the effect of these areas in pain modulation. Methods Ten healthy right-handed volunteers were performed respectively with different electrical stimulation of 1, 3 times pain threshold intensity. The whole-brain fMRI scanning was implemented at the same time. All data were postprocessed by means of analysis of functional neuroimages (AFNI) to reveal the regional activated changes of cerebellum. Results The activation elicited by non-noxious electrical stimulation mainly located in the contralateral cerebellar hemispheric lobule Ⅵ, Ⅶ and ipsilateral lobule Ⅶ, Ⅷ, the BOLD signal of ipsilateral hemisphere showed relatively significant; When applying noxious electrical stimulation, the ipsilateral cerebellar hemispheric lobule Ⅲ-Ⅵ, contralateral lobule Ⅵ, anterior vermis, paravermis area and part of the deep cerebellar nuclei (dentate nucleus and fastigial nucleus) were activated simultaneously, the activation response of ipsilateral cerebellar hemisphere still displayed more strongly with larger activated region than contralateral hemisphere. Conclusion In contrast to non-noxious electrical stimulation, noxious stimulation additionally revealed activation in the ipsilateral cerebellar hemispheric lobule Ⅲ-Ⅵ, anterior vermis, paravermis area and part of the deep cerebellar nuclei, these areas ought to belong to the part of cerebellar nociceptive circuits and may be more important in body pain modulation network.

目的利用功能磁共振成像技术(f MRI)观察小脑各亚区在不同强度电刺激时的激活反应,探讨小脑对于痛觉调控的作用。方法对10名右利手健康志愿者分别施加1倍痛阈、3倍痛阈两个不同强度的电刺激任务,同期进行全脑f MRI扫描,应用功能性神经图像分析(AFNI)软件包进行后处理以显示小脑激活的变化。结果非伤害性电刺激(1倍痛阈强度)主要激活对侧小脑半球小叶Ⅵ、Ⅶ区和同侧小脑半球Ⅶ、Ⅷ区,以同侧半球的BOLD信号较强;伤害性电刺激(3倍痛阈强度)诱发的激活区主要位于同侧小脑半球小叶Ⅲ~Ⅵ区,对侧小脑半球Ⅵ区,前蚓部,蚓旁区和深部小脑核团的一部分(顶核和齿状核),其中仍以同侧激活区范围较大,信号亦明显强于对侧。结论高强度痛觉电刺激额外激活同侧小脑半球小叶Ⅲ~Ⅵ区,前蚓部,蚓旁区和深部小脑核团,这些脑区应该属于小脑伤害感受性环路的一部分,它们可能在全身痛觉调控网络中更为重要。

Objective:Using the function magnetic resonance imaging to research the brain activations in reading different Chinese linear words phrases.Methods:20 subjects were scanned in the magnetic resonance when they were reading the visual Chinese phrases.Then judgement was made in light of the constitution correctness(grammer and semantics both being correct)or in-correctness(with grammer being correct while semantics wrong)of the expressions sequence.Results:The different brain activations among the six phrases are: left middle frontal gyrus,left inferior frontal gyrus,left superior temporal gyrus,left thalamus,left insula,right superior frontal gyrus,right inferior frontal gyrus,right superior temporal gyrus,right inferior temporal gyrus,right precentral gyrus and right thalamus.The same brain activations among the six phrases include left superior frontal gyrus,left post parietal lobe and right post parietal lobe.Conclusion:The brain language processing not only needs the language area and the non-language area brain mechanism intercoordination but also needs the left brain and the right brain mutually co-operating together.
