Since long the double-crank block mechanism has been designed by means of the graphical fitting method in order to determine the dimension figures of the mechanism.Owing to a great number of the variables appearing in the design and therefore a large amount of work involved,it is difficult to make a comparison of many possible designs.The author introduces in this article a new method of designing the double-crank block mechanism-Optimization designing.
