本文介绍了汽车万向节十字头分模模缎的实验与研究工作。着重阐述了十字头锻件在可分凹模中挤压成形时金属的流动规律;分析了模具形状、尺寸和其它工艺参数对缎件成形的影响;探求了挤压力及合模力的计算方法,并与实测数据作了对比。以期为进一步研究和推广这一先进工艺提供经验和科学依据。

The multiway die forging process for the pipe unions in common use and the principle of operation of a newly designed equipment for the forging are described. The optimum ratio of the force to be applied on the die to the extrusion force is derived and a design method for the die is given.

The reverse simulation by using UEET is presented for the close die forging process of the forgings of H shape. Being combined with flow simulation, many problems are discussed about the effects of the varying flash land height and different billet sizes on the forming energy consumption. Furthermore, the optimum forging process and the concept of the best billet size are suggested.
