Increasingly, immediate access to product and process data is vital for responding to market changes. PDM systems provide plenty of functions at the desktop managing the design process, controlling product description data, acting as platform of data integration.

In the article, the authors also discussed some weaknesses in Chinese export marketing.

对 1979~ 1988年中国出口广告进行了实证分析 ,得出一些值得注意的结果 :(1)在 1979~ 1988年这十年间 ,将产品介绍作为主题的广告比例减少了 ,而将品牌优越性作为主题的广告比例增加了 ;(2 )比较式广告开始出现于一小部分广告中 ,其目标主要是中国竞争者而非外国竞争者 ;(3)虽然品牌提示式广告开始得到使用 ,但其数量极少 ;(4 )在此期间 ,中国出口制造商开始更多地由自己做广告 ,而减少对中国外贸公司的依赖 .同时 ,提出了中国出口营销的一些弱点

在机械产品开发过程中 ,概念设计是最关键、最复杂、最具综合性、决定性和和创造性的阶段 ,概念设计可以归结为两大问题 :模型问题和推理问题。模型问题包括设计过程模型、产品描述模型和系统模型等 ,推理问题包括设计方案生成推理和候选设计方案评价与决策推理等。对概念设计含义、在产品开发中的地位、模型和推理等问题进行了综述 ,在此基础上 ,给出了基于智能计算的概念设计基本框架结构
