The inducing effects of light on the activity of glycolic acid oxidase in rice (Oryza sativa L.) seedlings were investigated. There was a lag phase (3~5 hours) for the appearance of the activity of glycolic acid oxidase after the etiolated rice seedlings were illuminated with white light. Infiltration with cycloheximide (5 μg/ml) before illumination could completely inhibit the induction of the enzyme activity. When the seedlings were kept in the dark, the activity of glycolic acid oxidase in light-grown green seedlings diminished gradually and decreased to zero on the 5th day, but the seedlings remained partly green and still reserved the ability of photosynthesis. When theseedlings were reilluminated with white light, the activity of glycolic acid oxidase reappeared after a lag phase of 8~10 hours.Cycloheximide completely inhibited the induction of the actiwty also in dark-treated green seedlings. Infiltration with glycolic acid (0.1 M) could induce the appearance of the activity of glycolic acid oxidase in etiolated seedlings. FMN (10~(-4) M) had no inducing effect, but FMN plus glycolic acid could induce the enzyme activity cooperatively. Various wavelengths of light in the visible range, including blue, green and red light, could induce the activity of this enzyme. Very low light intensity (0.98 W. M~(-3)) was enough for this inducing effect. According to the results obtained, it is suggested that glycolic acid oxidase is an induced enzyme. Light may affect its activity in two ways: by starting photosynthesis to produce glycolic acid, which induces the biosynthesis of the apoenzyme, and by accelerating the biosynthesis of flavines and thereby raising the level of FMN in tissues which increases the activity of the enzyme.

To explore the mechanism of action of the inhibitory effect of bovine pancreaticpolypeptide(BPP)on pancreatic enzyme secretion,we examined the effect of BPPon carbachol-induced amylase release from dispersed acini prepared from rat pan-creas.Results from the present study indicated that BPP could significantly inhibitamylase release from rat pancreatic acini stimulated by carbachol and this inhibi-tion was dose-dependent.In addition,BPP also inhibited carbachol-induced~(45)Ca outflux from pancreatic acini,but it had no effect on ionophore A23187-orcholecystokinin octapeptide(CCK-8)-induced ~(45)Ca outflux.These results postu-lated that BPP possessed the ability to antagonize the action of carbachol at themuscarinic cholinergic receptor level.Moreover,our results showed that BPPcould inhibit the potentiation of amylase secretion induced by secretin or vasoactiveintestinal peptide(VIP)plus carbachol.This observation suggested that theinhibitory effect of BPP on pancreatic enzyme secretion stimulated by secretinin vivo might be due to the effect of BPP in antagonizing the muscarinic choliner-gic receptors on pancreatic acinar cells,and by so doing it reduced the secretin-induced enzyme secretion which was potentiated by the cholinergic stimulant.

为探讨胰多肽抑制胰酶分泌的机制,我们利用大鼠离体胰腺泡制备观察了牛胰多肽(BPP)在细胞受体水平对氨甲酰胆碱等促分泌物作用的影响。实验结果显示,BPP 对氨甲酰胆碱诱导的胰腺泡淀粉酶分泌具有抑制作用,并存在剂量反应关系。BPP0.1μmol/L 和0.2μmol/L,可分别使氨甲酰胆碱诱导淀粉酶分泌的效价降低3倍和10倍;BPP 还可抑制氨甲酰胆碱刺激胰腺泡释放~(45)Ca。以上结果提示,BPP 对胰腺泡的胆碱能 M 受体具有拮抗作用。此外,BPP 对促胰液素及其同类激动剂和氨甲酰胆碱协同作用诱导的胰腺泡淀粉酶分泌具有抑制作用,提示胰多肽在整体对促胰液素诱导的胰酶分泌的抑制,可能是通过拮抗胰腺泡细胞上的 M 受体而抑制了促胰液素和胆碱能刺激协同作用引起的胰酶分泌。

Its activity level has direct effect on the nitrogen utilization of a plant and seed quality.This treatise studies the Variation Laws of Winter Wheat Nitrate Reductase Activity (NRA)in different parts of a plant and some species in Winter Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)from 1984 to 1986. Meanwhile, it also studies theoretically the effect of different fertilizer application and different fertilization periods on NRA and the growth of leaves, sheaths, stalks, ears and the yield of wheat, for the improvement of grain yield and reasonable fertilization in winter wheat.The study of NRA is greatly helpful to the identification and evaluation of species in early state in the course of breeding.

硝酸还原酶(NR)是植物体内硝态氮还原过程的重要诱导酶,它的高低直接影响着植株对氮素的利用程度和种子质量。本文论述了1984—1986年对冬小麦植株不同部位器官硝酸还原酶话性(NRA)变化规律的研究以及不同追肥量、追肥期对植株体内叶片、叶鞘、茎秆、穗部等器官和产量的影响,为冬小麦的高产栽培和合理施肥寻找理论依据。通过对NRA的研究,在育种工作中也有助于加强对品种的早期鉴别和评价。
