A new way to analyze average manganese valence of MnZn-ferrite, using the potassium permanganate spectrophotometer method combine with XPS, was studied in this paper.
The results showed that with the same coprecipitation mixing time the average manganese valence of MnZn-ferrite samples were increasing as the pH value increasing.
