High tungsten as—cast white iron impellors PSV having been tested in The Beijing Jiaqi Cement Plant, a good deal of success has been achieved, This is due to using the high alloying additions which result in a structure of martensite and sorbite matrix with a high hardness phrase M_6C~- inserted in it. To really understand the structure of white east irons, the high tungsten alloyed in particular, the samples achieved under conditions of quenching or partial quenching of molten metal drops, heat—treating have been investigated experimentally. Study has been made of the morphologies, phrases and formation of the structure of carbides, the growth of primary phrase M_6C and crystallization phenomena in tungsten alloyed white cast irons. Here of the experimental results and the conclutions are presented. The conclusions of this paper are as follow crystallization of high tungsten cast irons is according the metastable-equilibrium system; the primary phrase is M_6C (Fe_4W_2C or Fe_3W_3C); the binary eutectic is (M_6C+γ); the ternary eutectic is (M_6C+γ+M_3C). This paper also shows the growth, twins, the sub—structure and the banded structure of the primary phrase M_6C

In this paper, the post-nitriding oxidation technolegy of a few steel and cast iron and its corrosive property are investigated. The optimun depth of the oxide layer is about 2-5μm, and it is proved to be homogeneous, close, hard and combined well with the nitrided case. The salt spray corrosion test ( 3%NaCl ) has been shown that good samples donot rust for 36-40 hrs test and rust-stain occurs after 24hrs test for the poorest sample It is considered that the high corrosive resistance results from the oxide layer coated on the nitrided case, it not only thickens the corrosion protective coating, but also fills the porosity of the surface which may act as the micro-cell.

本文试验研究了几种常用钢,铸铁氮碳共渗和氧化处理的复层工艺及其腐蚀特性,表明氧化层分布均匀、致密、坚实,复层之间结合良好。最佳氧化层厚度为2~5μm左右;各种复层工艺试样在3%NaCl水溶液中的电极电位为+0.045~0.19V;外加电位达700mV时,阳极电流密度分别在几毫安及几十微安以下;3%NaCl水溶液盐雾试验,优者36~40小时不锈,差者也达24小时。分析认为复层优越的抗腐蚀特性是由于氮化层表面复盖一层氧化层,不仅增加了防蚀保护层的厚度,更主要的作用是“填平”了可作为腐蚀微电池的氮化层表面的疏松层。
