With the development of uranium exploration work, exposed or nearsurface uranium deposits easily discovered are decreasing in number. In order to increase tbe efficiency of the mineral exploration, and reduce prospecting targets, this paper analyses the geophysical and geochemical characteristics of china's main uranium deposits and districts and the relationship of formation mechanism with uranium mineralization and also discusses and summarizes the geophysical and geochemical models for deep buried uranium deposits in China on the basis of many-year practical experiences and uranium geological data. 1. Regional geophysical characteristics of uranium deposits in China 1) Up to now, almost all the uranium deposits (and occurrences) found in China are regionally located in radioactive gamma fields with high values or higher values and their margins that show the very close relationship between uranium deposits and gamma highs. 2) According to the studies on the gravity data from uranium deposits (occurrences), most of uranium deposits (occurrences) are distributed at the margins of gravity highs or on transitional zones from gravity highs to gravity lows, i.e. on gravity gradient belts at every level. It indicates that uranium deposits are related to the intersections between tectonic structure elemen s with different densities or the transitional belts of deep faults, uplifts and depressions. 3) Many uranium deposits (occurrences) occur in the areas with low and stable magnetic fields (within±100nT) or near the margins of regional magnetic anomalies and deformational parts. It indicates that uraninm deposits are correlated with weak magnetic geological bodies (including secondary tectonic fracture zone). 4) From satellite images, many uranium deposits (occurrences) can be seen to distribute in the concentrated areas of colour lineaments and the margins of colour rings or development portions of grating colour lineaments in them. It reflects that uranium deposits are associalted with structure-magmatism-rift zones and magmatism-hydrothermal activities centers. 2. Geophysical-geochemical characteristics of uranium districts (fields) in China 1) It is found that several large uranium districts (fields) in China are located in potassium-high zones through studies of high-sensitive airborne gamma spectrometric data. Therefore, potassium-high zones may become the important promising areas for future exploration of deep-buried uranium deposits, which may be related to the existence of potassium-rich granitic rocks. 2) Mobilized uranium concentration in geological bodies of uraniferous areas is high. The mobilized uranium concentration in granites and volcanic rocks of uranium producing areas in China is relatively high and uranium mobilization and migration rate is over 50—80%. It shows that the formation of uranium deposits is closely related with the mobilization, migration and enrichment of uranium element in uranium-rich geological bodies. 3) The dispersion of uranium concentration in uranium-producing geological bodies is high and the wider the dispersion the greater the possibility of uranium accumulation is. 4) Th/U ratio in geological bodies of uranium areas is small, usually less than 3. Except the areas with mixed U-Th and high Th, when average uranium concentration is higher than regional background uranium concentration, the areas with Th/U ratio less than 3 are the favourable areas for deep-buried uranium deposits (The smaller the Th/U ratio, the nearer the area to uraniferous areas is). 5) U, Ra, Rn, He in water are high near uranium deposits. 6) There are generally some weak anomalies on the surface of blind ore bodies but under unfavourable conditions no indications are shown. Since no data have directly confirmed the relationship between surface anomalies and subsurface orebodies, the comprehensive-analysis of the above anomalies and charaoteristics is necessary to determine whether subsurface concealed uranium deposits exist or not. 3. Geophysical and geochemical models for subsurface uranium deposits In the geological bodies with radioactive gamma highs or their margins, uranium concentration is distributed dispersively, high mobilized uranium, small Th/U ratio, high potassium, slighthy high U, Ra, Rn, He in water nearby appear and weak anomalies exist at the surface. And such geological bodies regionally occur at gravity gradient zones and low-stable magnetic field areas. The intersection and overlapping of lineaments and ring structures shown on satellite images implies that buried uranium deposits may occur at depth.

为进一步提高物化探方法找深部铀矿的效果,解决当前找深部铀矿中的一些地质问题,本文研究和分析了我国大部分铀矿床、区的地球物理平口地球化学特征及其可能反映的成矿、赋矿地质条件,据此探讨了找深部铀矿的地球物理-地球化学模式:伽码场高或偏高,铀含量分布离散度大,活化铀量高,钍铀比值小,钾高,附近水中铀、镭、氡、氦偏高,地表有微弱的放射性和非放射性异常,区域上处于重力梯度带和低稳磁场区以及遥感图像上的线性和环形“色线”发育、交汇叠加区的地质体,其深部很可能有隐伏铀矿存在。

The heap leaching of uranium ore,its decreasing cost and increasing efficiency are expounded, and the policy-making principles for using heap leaching technology and the main work are discussed. The economic analysis of heap leaching technology, selection of technological flowsheets and the methods and requirements for disposal of wastes are introduced. It is considered that the natural characteristics of uranium deposit and heap leaching experiments are the prerequisite of developing uranium are heap leaching, and determining the suitable forms of spraying and pouring and extablishing good ore heaps according to the local conditions are the technical keys of increasing the leach recovery of heap leaching. The views and proposals are also presented on developing heap leaching, establishing the performance standards for experiment and production, enhancing the level of heap leaching technology and adopting the effective measurements in environmental protection.

本文论述铀矿石堆浸、降低成本、提高效益的问题。讨论了搞好堆浸的决策原则和主要工作,介绍了堆浸技术经济分析、工艺流程选择和治理“三废”的有关方法及要求。认为铀矿床的天然特征和做好铀矿堆浸试验是开展铀矿堆浸的前提;而因地制宜、建好矿堆、确定合适的喷淋、浇灌方式是提高堆浸浸出率的技术关键。文章还就发展堆浸、建立试验和工业生产考核指标、提高堆浸技术水平、采取有效的环保措施,提出了看法和建议。
