Low frequency internal friction in the process of plastic deformation of Al-Cu and Al-Mg alloys was measured on a small tensile test machine and a series of internal friction jumps was observed on the internal friction-strain curve. Low frequency internal friction in the process of plastic deformation of Al-Cu and Al-Mg alloys was measured on a small tensile test machine and a series of internal friction jumps was observed on the internal friction-strain curve. A study was made on the effect of temperature of measurement and some metallurgical factors on these internal friction jumps. Experimental results showed that the range of the temperature of measurement within which these internal friction jumps appeared corresponds tc that for the appearance of the serrated stress-strain curves of aluminium-copper alloys. This indicates that these internal friction jumps on the internal friction-strain curves are associated with the process of strain aging occured in the process of plastic deformation, i.e., they are originated from the alternate anchoring of dislocations by atmospheres of solute atoms and their subsequent escaping in the course of plastic deformation.

In this paper, we put emphasis on representing the tester's principles of structure, and its working state, registration capacity ; reappearance, etc., The tester has been used to continuously test and summarily analyse the aluminium-silicon alloy, aluminium-copper alloy, qray iron, casting aluminium bronze for their solidification contraction. The elimination of residual stress by heating anneal aging and vibration aging being analysed by comparision, we have preliminarily made research into vibration frequency, vibration temperature by which the elimination of stress is interfered.

本文从研究合金因素对产生热裂、冷裂、挠曲、变形和残留应力等铸造缺陷的关 系出发,设计和研制了双试棒合金凝固收缩力试验机。文章着重介绍了试验机的构 造原理,工作状态、自记能力与重现性等;并应用它对铝硅合金、铝铜合金、灰铸 铁、铸铝青铜等的凝固收缩力进行了连续测定和概略分析:同时对加热退火时效和振 动时效消除残留应力进行对比分析:初步探讨了振动频率、振动温度对消除应力的影 响.

The effect of mechanical stirring on ingots of aluminium and aluminium-copper alloys was studied. The studies deal with the width of the columnar zone and the changes of the primary and secondary dendrite arms space. Deflection of the columnar crystals was also studied.The velocity field of mechanical stirring was calculated and the effects of some factors on the structure and the macrosegregation of ingots were analyzed.

研究表明,机械搅拌驱使液态金属作圆周运动,提高了凝固前沿的温度梯度,降低了凝固速度,缩短了柱状晶区宽度,扩大了等轴晶区并细化了等轴晶,同时还促使柱状晶发生倾斜,缩短了一次,二次枝晶间距,并形成了特有的宏观偏析,这种偏析特征与流体流动规律,溶质密度密切相关。
