In this paper, an investigation has been made about the low temperature electrolytic liquih boronizing process at 580—620℃ and the microstructure and hardness of boronizing layer was analysed. The layer consists of dual phases of FeB and Fe_2B and its hardness is as high as HV_(0.01) 1600—1800. Some experiments on wear resistance and, thermal fatigue of several new die steels were performed compared with those of the conventional heattreatment and oxy-nitro-carburizing technology. The layer consists of dual phases of FeB and Fe_2B and its hardness is as high as HV_(0.01) 1600—1800. Some experiments on wear resistance and, thermal fatigue of several new die steels were performed compared with those of the conventional heattreatment and oxy-nitro-carburizing technology. It has been shown that both properties could be improved remarkably by using low temperature eletrolytic liquid boronizing technology.

本文实验了580~620℃低温电解渗硼工艺,并对其渗硼层的显微组织及硬度进行了分析与测定。渗硼层由FeB和Fe_2B双相组成,HV_(0.01)160~1800。本文还对几种新型模具钢低温电解渗硼与常规热处理、碳氮氧共渗处理进行比较。结果表明,低温电解渗硼可以显著提高高合金模具钢的耐磨性和抗热疲劳性能。
