A semi-empirical method for the calculation of the second-order nonlinear optical susceptibilities for multibond crystals is presented. This method bases on the electrostatic three-center model for diatomic bonds. Equation for calculating the macroscopic susceptibility of a single bond is derived. By using the semi-empirical method some different types of multibind crystals including A~Ⅰ B~Ⅲ C_2~Ⅵ (e.g.,CuGaS_2, AgGaS_2, AgInSe_2), A~Ⅱ B~Ⅳ C~Ⅴ (e.g.,ZnSiAs_2, CdGeAs_2, CdGeP_2),...

本文应用双原子键三中心静电模型,导出了单键线性极化率的表达式,从而提供了计算多元复杂晶体二阶非线性光学系数的半经验方法;应用该方法计算了A~ⅠB~ⅡC_2~Ⅲ(如CuGaS_2、AgGaS_2、AgInSe_2等)、A~ⅡB~ⅣC_2~Ⅴ(如ZnSiAs_2、CdGeP_2、CdGeAs_2)、以及KH_2PO_4、LiNbO_3、LiTaO_3等复杂晶体的二阶非线性光学系数d_(ijk),计算值与实验测定值基本相符。

Abstract The microscopic second-order nonlinear optical susceptibilities of methylsulfonyl substisubstituted stilbene derivatives were calculated with nonlinear optical active group theory. The studies on the powder second harmonic generation(SHG) effects and spectroscopic properties revealed that some of these compounds had more intensive powder efficiency of SHG than inorganic crystals and the transparency and crystallinity were superior to other nonlinear optical stilbene derivatives.

用非线性光学活性基团理论计算了甲基砚基二苯乙烯衍生物的微观二阶非线性光学极化率,并且测定了其粉末倍频强度.结果表明此类分子具有较好的二次非线性光学特性,有可能在其中找到有用的有机非线性光学材料.
