In spontaneous electric field of dam,Filtrating electric field created by uniform seepage flow and concentric seepage flow plays a dominant role.In the paper, the filtrating electric field of the earth dam is firstly divided into two parts.One is uniform seepage flow the other is concentric seepage flow.According to the characteristics of the filtrating electric field created by seepage flow along the cross section,the filtrating electric field consists of three parts: the permeable entrance zone,the runoff zone and the exit zone.It describes the basic characteristics of the filtrating electric field of the earth dam that provide a base for studying the technique in detecting the hidden seepage flow defect of the earth dam by the spontaneous electric field.

土坝的自然电场中,由均匀和集中渗流产生的过滤电场起主导作用,它是探测土坝渗漏隐患的良好场源.笔者在国内外首先将土坝过滤电场整体上分解为均匀渗流的过滤电场和集中渗流的过滤电场两部分;同时,根据渗流产生的过滤电场的特征,沿土坝横断面将过滤电场分作入渗带、径流带和逸出带三部分;在此基础上,揭示了土坝过滤电场的基本特征,为应用自然电场检测土坝渗漏隐患技术研究提供了理论依据.

The filtrating electric field is a good field source to detect the earth dam leakage. It is the leading actor that comes from uniform and concentric seepage flows. According to the primitive test data of marine hydraulic engineering in all of the country, the writer generalizes a set of technical system to detect the leakage of dams by the method of Spontaneous Electric Field. From the reflecting of leakage in the electricity curve, the technique will be concentrated five kinds of basic appearances that are the narrow difference, the breadth difference, the double breadth difference, some difference and the difference as a tower. It not only can judge the natural leakage and the exceptional leakage, but also can explain and predict the seepage space of which the width, the depth, the direction, and the flow changing with the time. Above all, the technique would be offering the dependable data for the reinforce engineering in the future.
