In the paper, mathematical analysis and design of a low-noise common-emitter UHF transistor amplifiers is studied, existing respectively I/f noise and ripple voltage in the transistor. In paper the phase noise L(f) of the transistor is taked as function of Te, Re and R_(L1) for the first time, where Ie is emitter current, Re is resistor of emitter degeneration feedback and R_(L1) is aseismatic resistor on the collector.Computer analysis shows that probably the best way of reducing the effect of AM -PM conversion...

It is proposed that double-tuned circuit can improve the bandwidth of microwave and millimeter-wave IMPATT amplifier. The small and large signal characteristics of the amplifier are analyzed in detail and the conditions to realize the maximum bandwidth are given after the relationship between circuit parameters and broadband characteristic is discussed. The theoretical results are verified by the experiments.

In this paper a new circuit principle for millimeter wave frequency modulator is described. A cavity Gunn oscillator and a varactor-tuned circuit are coupled by a feedback adjusting loop. When the modulation sensitivity is enough, the loop feedback coefficent must be decreased for decreasing the influence of varactor diode to the oscillator frequency stability. The Gunn oscillator is stabilized by a high Q cavity. The modulation sensitivity is 3. SMHz/V and the modulation linearity is better than...

Oscillation frequency stability obtained (at center frequency) is 6. 5ppm/℃ over -20℃ to +50℃ temperature range with power output more than 17 dBm.

本文给出一种新型毫米波频率调制电路,是将腔稳Gunn振荡器与变容管调制电路通过反馈调节电路耦合起来形成的。在确保所需调制频偏的情况下,通过调整环路反馈系数可减小变容管调制电路对Gunn振荡器中心频率稳定度的影响。Gunn振荡器中加一高Q稳频腔,从而可以获得较高的频率稳定度。调制器调制灵敏度为3.5MHz/V,调频线性度优于2%,中心频率稳定度6.5ppm/℃(-20~50℃),输出功率大于17dBm。
