    This paper discussed the methods about the intensity monitor of regional dust-storm with NOAA/AVHRR data, which highlighted dust-storm images by Lookup Table (LUT) and extracted dust-storm spatial information with empirical model. The study showed that the multi-spectral im- age of visible, near-infrared and far-infrared bands can monitor the dust-storm and sort its information effciently; and in the region of lower rate of vegetation coverage, it is not feasible to extract dust-storm information by the global vegetation index IGV, but it is helpful in ocean re- gion. Furthermore, the study tried to display the intensity of regional dust-storm by extracting the dust-storm density.

    To accurately assess physical activity is the key to study the relationship between training and training efficiency.Many researchers have tried to find an objective,accurate and reliable method to assess human physical activity.The training intensity monitor based on motion sensor provides a new thinking method and practical technique to assess soldiers' training state and training efficiency.This paper elaborated the design method of the instrument.
