In this paper, some problems in engineering practice are studied. At present, the penetrating depth of plastic drainage belt in soft groundwork is determined according to the allowed settlement of relevant engineering project, as required in “The Code of Design for The Foundation with Plastic Drainage Belt". However, there are still some problems needed to discuss and study, such as how many post construction settlements can be reduced, what the effective penetration depth will be, etc. Based on the in situ measured data, it is indicated that for such drainage method, the lower of strength of soft soil, or the thicker of foundation stratum, or the larger of lateral deformation of the soft foundation, the poorer of effect of strengthening soil will be in deep position of foundation. Moreover, the problem of why the good result can be reached at Macao Airport, using drainage belt method in deeper penetration,was also analyzed and differentiated.It is expected that presenred study would be helpful to promote the discussion on this problem to avoid the design of excessive and unnecessary penetrating depth.

按《塑料排水带地基设计规程》规定 ,塑料排水带打入软地基的深度按工程允许沉降量确定。但塑料带排水法能减少的工后沉降和有效的打入深度是有争议的问题。根据现场实测资料说明 ,软弱地基强度越低、越深厚、侧向位移越大 ,则塑料带排水法对深部土层的加固效果越差。对澳门机场采用塑料带排水法取得良好效果的条件进行的分析 ,希望能有助于减少盲目加大打入深度的浪费现象

Base on the 4-year in-situ measured data,the change of settlement on soft foundation of express way under surcharge-unloading and reloading wass analyzed.The good effect was gained on the soft foundation treated with plastic drainage belt combined with surcharge preloading.The final settlement accomplished mostly during the period of filling and surcharge preloading.The rate of settlement decreased during the reloading after surcharge-unloading.Compared with the standard of post-construction settlement...

Base on the 4-year in-situ measured data,the change of settlement on soft foundation of express way under surcharge-unloading and reloading wass analyzed.The good effect was gained on the soft foundation treated with plastic drainage belt combined with surcharge preloading.The final settlement accomplished mostly during the period of filling and surcharge preloading.The rate of settlement decreased during the reloading after surcharge-unloading.Compared with the standard of post-construction settlement of express way,the settlement caused by reloading is evitable.The settlement didn’t accomplish quickly after reloading.It is unsuitable to calculate the primary consolidation settlement with the data of Cs as the settlement calculation in over-consolidated soil.Under the field experiment,a coefficient larger than 1 should be multiplied when modulus of compressibility and layer-wise summation method are chosed in primary consolidation settlement calculation under surcharge-unloading and reloading.

根据4 a多的沉降观测资料,分析了高速公路软土地基超载卸载再加荷的沉降变化规律。结果表明,采用塑料排水板超载预压处理高速公路软土地基,具有较好的效果,不仅使沉降大部分在填筑期和超载预压期间发生,且使卸载后再施工路面结构层时沉降速率仍然呈收敛的状态。超载卸载再加荷产生的沉降对于高速公路工后沉降标准而言不容忽视,其沉降也并非瞬时完成,不宜采用类似计算超固结土沉降时的回弹指数进行计算。对于试验段特定的条件,卸载后施工路面结构层的沉降计算,可采用分层总和法、利用压缩模量计算其主固结沉降,然后乘以大于1的修正系数。
