光ATM交换是光交换网络和ATM交换结构相结合而形成的一种颇具潜力的交换技术。本文分析了光ATM技术产生的背景,描述基于使用超短光脉冲的广播—和—选择星形网络以及基于使用光矩阵交换的超正方体网络这两类信元交换结构,介绍了实现光ATM交换的几项关键技术:超速信元产生、全光地址匹配和全光同步,探讨光交换技术未来的发展趋势和前景。

The hybrid integrated photonic switch based on the integration of a GaAs/AlGaAs VCSEL and a MISS device is reported. The Ultra-Thin semi-Insulating layer (UTI) of the GaAs MISS is formed by using oxidation of AlAs which is grown by MBE. The accurate control of UTI and the processing compatibility between VCSEL and MISS is solved by this procedure. The integrated devise can be used as a photonic switch, a light amplifier, and also can be used in free space optical interconnection.

报道了MBE生长的GaAs材料VCSEL与MISS混合集成构成的光子开关。将MBE生长的超薄AIAs层氧化为AxOy层用作MISS器件的超薄半绝缘层,从而解决了该半绝缘层厚度的精密控制以及与VCSEL工艺相容的问题。该集成器件除光子开关功能外,还能实现光放大功能,并可用于自由空间光互连。

WDM is a technology in common use for enlarging communication capacity and improving lines utilization. This article proved a ATM photonic switch model for WDM system. By using of multichannel inter-connection,this architecture can obtain advantages as easy to realization, simple architecture, low requirement for internal buffer,et al. The performance of such system is analysized.

波分复用是增大通信容量,提高线路利用率的常用技术.本文提出了一种用于波分复用系统的ATM光交换模型.该结构利用波分复用的特点,采用内部多通道互连方式,使其具有易于实现、结构简单、对内部缓存要求较低等优点.并对该模型进行了性能分析,得出了结论.
