The important human's biorhythm composed of physical rhythm(23 cyclic days),emotional rhythm(28 cyclic days)and intellectual rhythm (33 cyclic days)is known as PEI cycle theory.It is the principal factor that has an effect on human behaviour.We made a deep investigation and study of the biorhythms of 300 students during the college entrance examination and made an attempt to study the practical application of biorhythms to examination. 55.35 percent of the students felt the biorhythms were present.The students whose physical rhythms in positive phase(high tide)or negative phase(low tide)were respectively 41.33% and 42.0%(Pt>0.05),in cross phase(phase transition)was 16.67%.The students whose emotional rhythms in positive or negative phase were respectively 45.33% and 43.33%(Pt>0.05),in cross phase was 11.33%.This two rhythm phases have little effect on the result of examination based on the students' self -estimate. The students whose intellectual rhythms were in positive, negative or cross phases were respectively 45.33%,44.33% and 10.33%.The excellet self-estimate students in intellectual positive phases are superior to those in the low grade group(Pt<0.01).There are a close relation between the result of examination and intellectual rhythm phase.We know the result of examination is affected by multiple factors,therefore we must not have art exaggerate estimate of the result of examination based on biorhythm phases.

Reoular examination shouldbe made to detect early esophageal cancer.

取食管癌高发区170例食管拉网涂片,以改良邹氏法进行r-谷氨酰转肽酶(r?GT)活性检测。结果:正常细胞涂片中22.2%(16/72)为r-GT阳性;轻度增生细胞涂片中38.0%(19/50)为r-GT阳性;重度增生Ⅰ级细胞涂片中48.5%(16/33)为r-GT阳性;重度增生Ⅱ级细胞涂片中100%(6/6)为r-GT阳性;有鳞癌细胞涂片中100%(9/9)为r-GT阳性对r-GT阳性涂片的37例于0.5~1年后复查,有13例(35.1%)转为阴性。(其包括r-GT阳性正常细胞组,轻度增生细胞组和重度增生Ⅰ级细胞组)转阴的趋势随病变增重而降低。而r-GT阳性的重度增生Ⅱ级是癌前病变,应定期随访,以期发现早期食管癌。
