本实验结果证明,脱落酸(ABA)和2,4-二硝基酚(2,4-DNP)都明显抑制小麦胚芽鞘切段延长生长,并促进切段对氧的吸收。ABA 和2,4-DNP 对胚芽鞘切段的上述影响均发生于切段接受处理后的1小时内。但当给切段供以 ATP 时,其延长生长受到显著促进,而且,当切段经 ATP 预处理3小时后,可大大降低 ABA 对切段延长生长的抑制作用。文中对 ABA影响小麦胚芽鞘延长生长的可能作用机理进行了讨论。

BR促进小麦胚芽鞘伸长的生理活性大于IAA,但高浓度的促进现象不如IAA明显。BR刺激乙烯生成与浓度相关。BR和IAA混合处理,对芽鞘切段的伸长、乙烯释放和H~+分泌都表现了加成作用。这二种激素在作用时间上有明显的差别,BR作用的滞后期更为清楚。BR有拮抗ABA对小麦胚芽鞘切段伸长的抑制作用。
