According to log data it is known that the gas bearing sandsto ne in Penglaizhen Formation in Baimamiao structure in West Sichuan shows low natural gamma and low wave impedance,however the tight sandstone low n atural gamma and high wave impedance and the mudstone high natural gamma and low wave impedance.So it is of multiple solubility to predict the gas bearing san ds tone only by use of the low wave impedance,because both the gas bearing sandsto n e and the mudstone have the low wave impedance.Therefore the prediction of sands tone was firstly finished by the inversion of natural gamma,thus making the mud stone with high natural gamma be eliminated,then the gas potential of the sandst one could be predicted with wave impedance,so as to realize the prediction of ga s bearing sandstone.A good geologic result has been achieved through the resear c h on the prediction of the gas bearing sandbodies in Penglaizhen Formation in B a imamiao structure in West Sichuan,which is of important significance of guiding the oil and gas exploration and development in this region.

从测井曲线可知 ,川西白马庙蓬莱镇组含气砂岩表现了低伽玛和低波阻抗特征 ,而致密砂体则表现为低伽玛、高波阻抗特征。泥岩表现为高伽玛和低波阻抗特征 ,这样含气砂岩与泥岩均有低波阻抗特征 ,故仅用低波阻抗来预测含气砂岩则具有多解性。因此 ,我们采取了先反演自然伽玛来解决砂岩的预测问题 ,也就是将高伽玛的泥岩排除了 ,然后再用波阻抗来对砂岩的含气性进行预测 ,以实现含气砂体的预测。通过开展川西白马庙地区蓬莱镇组含气砂体的预测研究 ,取得了较好的地质成果 ,对该地区的勘探开发具有重要的指导意义。
