The positron annihilation technique was applied to study the relation between relative free volume and irradiated graft for PTFE. The results indicate that the relative free volume responds very sensitively to the graft rate. The graft rate can be changed with the variations of absorbed dose, absorbed dose rate and irradiation environment. These rules are discussed in terms of the free volume model and are in agreement with the results from electron microscopy.

Methods\ An autogenous vein graft model was established in 40 rats by transplanting internal branch of jugular vein to carotid artery by end\|to\|end anastomosis.The vein was irradiated by 32 P before anastomosis.Four dose schedules were studied:(1) control graft(nonirradiated);(2) irradiated with 8 Gy;(3) 18 Gy;and (4) 36 Gy.The grafted veins were harvested at 2 weeks after the operation.IH (intimal hyperplasia) and SMC (smooth muscle cell) proliferation were histologically and immunohistochemically observed and analyzed by a computer digitalizing system. Results\ In 18 Gy and 36 Gy \|irradiated grafts compared with the control,there was a significant decrease in the average intimal thickness ( P <0 05).There was no significant difference between the two irradiation groups ( P >0 05).Immunohistochemical analysis of PCNA indicated decrease of positive cells in both 18 Gy and 36 Gy groups compared with 8 Gy and the control group ( P <0 01).There was no significant difference between 18 Gy and 36 Gy ( P >0 05) groups,and there was also no significant difference between 8 Gy and the control group ( P >0 05). Conclusion\ These preliminary results demonstrate that proper dose of beta irradiation in vein graft inhibits smooth muscle cells proliferation and neointimal hyperplasia in rat.\;

目的 研究放射性同位素局部照射对自体移植静脉段内膜增生反应的影响及其可能机理。方法 建立 4 0只大鼠自体静脉移植模型 ,随机分成对照组 (单纯自体静脉移植组 )、8、18、36Gy组 (按不同32 P内膜照射剂量 ) ,每组 10只。 2周后取材固定 ,行HE染色、Verhoeff弹力纤维染色、增殖细胞核抗原 (PCNA)免疫组化测定 (SP法 )、计算机图像分析仪测量移植血管内膜厚度。结果 移植静脉段的内膜平均厚度 :对照组与 8Gy组差异无显著性 (P >0 0 5 ) ,但高于 18、36Gy组(P <0 0 5 ) ,18Gy组与 36Gy组间差异无显著性 (P >0 0 5 ) ;PCNA阳性片示 ,18、36Gy组VSMC增殖较对照组受到明显抑制 (P <0 0 1) ,两组差异无显著性 (P >0 0 5 )。 8Gy组较对照组差异无显著性(P >0 0 5 )。结论 适当剂量 β射线局部照射可以抑制自体移植静脉的内膜增生及平滑肌细胞(SMC)的增殖 ,减少再狭窄的发生。

Objective To observe the effect of homograft of γ-Irradiated tendon incorporated with norfloxacin and silver immersion.Methods Thirty-two rabbits were randomly divided into four groups: irradiated allogeneic tendon incorporated with norfloxacin and silver group(Group A),irradiated allogeneic tendon group(Group B),deep-frozen allogeneic tendon group(Group C)and autogeneic tendon group(Group D).They were then implanted into defects of Achilles tendons respectively.Ag + level was detected in vitro.Biomechanic or histologic properties were observed and hydroxyproline(hyp)content was determined postoperatively.Results (1)The ultimate tensile stress of all groups was no significant difference between each other group in 12 weeks after operation.(2)Histological findings:At four weeks after transplantation,there were more cells in all grafts than in normal control tendons.The cells of the irradiated grafts were mainly oblong while others were predominatly spindle-shaped or linear.At 12 weeks after operation,cellularity of all grafts had decreased but remained greater than that in normal control tendons.The cells were mainly spindle-shaped or linear.(3)The Hyp level was no significant different between Group A and Band D(P>0.05),but it was lower in Group CP<0.05).Conclusion γ-Irradiated tendon incorporated with norfloxacin and silver immersion is a good substitute for autogenous grafts

目的 观察辐照氟银异体肌腱移植的效果。方法  32只家兔随机分为 4组 :分别将制备好的辐照氟银异体肌腱 (A组 ) ,单纯辐照异体肌腱 (B组 ) ,深低温冷冻异体肌腱 (C组 )与自体肌腱 (D组 ) ,行肌腱移植。术前进行各组Ag+ 检测 ,术后观察生物力学及组织形态学的变化并行羟脯氨酸含量测定。结果 术后 12周辐照氟银组最大载荷和抗张强度与其它各组差别无统计学意义 (P >0 .0 5 ) ;组织学变化 :术后 4周各处理组细胞增多 ,均多于自体组 ,A、B组细胞呈椭圆形 ,C组为线形或梭形 ;术后 12周各处理组细胞减少 ,仍多于自体组 ,细胞以线形或梭形为主 ;术后 12周辐照组羟脯氨酸含量与自体组无差异 (P >0 .0 5 ) ,但高于冷冻组 (P <0 .0 5 )。结论 辐照氟银异体肌腱移植后效果良好 ,是一种良好的自体肌腱替代材料
