The combined effects of high temperature and carbon monoxide (CO) on reproductive organs of rabbits were studied. The indices included sperm count, percentage of motility, abnomality of sperm and weight and morphological change of testes. The combined effects of high temperature and carbon monoxide (CO) on reproductive organs of rabbits were studied. The indices included sperm count, percentage of motility, abnomality of sperm and weight and morphological change of testes. The results showed: ① There were no sperms in tails of epididymes in high temperature group and high temperature and CO group; ② Sperm count showed statistically significant differences bet ween the regular temperature and CO group and the regular temperature group (P<0.05). These results were closely related to the degree of damage in the spermatogenic epithelium. It also indicated that severe damage of testes was caused by the combined effects of high temperature and CO.

本文报道家兔在高温及高温+CO环境作用下,分析家兔附睾尾精子总数、活动率和畸形率,观察睾丸重量及病理形态学变化,并与常温及常温+CO组比较。结果表明,高温组无论有无CO并存,附睾尾液均未检出精子,常温+CO组精子总数与常温组比较有显著意义(P<0.05),而精子活动率及畸形率则无显著意义。上述结果与家兔睾丸生精上皮受损等形态学变化完全吻合。结果还提示,高温与CO联合作用时损伤更明显。
