The modal response of liquid slosh in horizontally cylindrical container was investigated. By using the Galerkin's method and under the assumption of translational excitation, the discretized modal oscillational equations of forced slosh were derived. Also, the equivalent mechanical model of slosh was established. The paper shows good agreement of the FEM results with other computational and experimental ones. The numerical experiment reveals that the longitudinal excitation only excites the longitudinal modal...

No mixed modal response can be excited. At last, figures on variation of the longitudinal natural frequency and the slosh mass versus the horizontal container length, the liquid filling ratio and the configuration of the cross-section of container were plotted.

以油罐车为背景,研究平放柱箱液体晃动的模态响应.采用Galerkin方法建立了贮箱平动激励下离散的液体受迫晃动方程,建立了三维受迫晃动响应的等效力学模型.首先考核了晃动特征问题有限元方法和程序的正确性.其次数值实验显示,在液体三维晃动的横向、纵向、混合的3种可能模态中,贮箱的横向激励仅激发液体沿横向的二维晃动模态,纵向激励仅激发液体沿纵向的晃动模态;不存在其他形式的模态响应.最后算例分析了液体沿纵向晃动的固有频率和晃动质量随贮箱长度、充液量和横截面几何形状的变化,结果表明,纵向晃动固有频率随贮箱长度而下降,晃动质量随贮箱长度而增加.
