Besides, the paper discusses the method of the models for switching operations, faults and the calculation for the initial conditions.

In order to analyze the power flow and the transient stability of an AC-DC hybrid system, a method of nesting a DC subroutine into the original program for the AC power system is proposed in this paper. The fundamental principle, mathenatical model, regulation and control blocks of DC subroutine, and interface between these programs are introduced The results of trial computation are in conformity with theoretical analysis.
