On the basis of the field investigation and experimental data, the status and spatial and temporal patterns for the last decade in surface water pollution were revealed in the Yangtze delta. The water qualities of large rivers are still very well, but most of medium and small rivers have been polluted very seriously. The rivers in city are mainly polluted by the oxygen demanded organic matters,with water become more black and odoriferous. The concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus in lakes are increasing annually,accelerating the process of the eutrophication. The surface water quality in small towns become rapidly deteriorating, and each small town is becoming a new water pollution center. The pollutants in surface water of the Yangtze delta are mainly originated from industrial waste, municipal sewage, dejecta of livestocks and poultry, chemical fertilizers in field, bottom sediments in rivers and lakes, and so on. In the light of above pollution patterns and origins, modulating countermeasures have been proposed. The rules and laws on water environment protection and water pollution prevention and control in valleys should be made much more perfect. A uniform and regional agency of water environmental management should be established.A lot of sewage plants should be built quickly in order to increase the sewage treatment ratio and the level of waste water purification.The integrate harness of dejecta of livestock and poultry should be strengthened to make them resourceful,reducible and innocuous.The amount of chemical fertilizer in field should be reduced and the quantity of organic and complex pertilizer should be increased.The integrate reparation of medium and small rivers should be enhanced,as well as riverhead protection.

根据野外实地考察和定点观测数据 ,结合历年环境监测资料 ,初步揭示了长江三角洲地表水环境污染的现状与近十年来的时空演变规律 :河网干流水质基本良好 ,中小河流污染突出 ;城市河流有机污染严重 ,普遍出现水体黑臭现象 ;湖泊氮磷含量逐年增高 ,水体富营养化加剧 ;市郊小城镇河网水质急剧恶化 ,已成为新的水环境污染中心。造成长江三角洲地表水环境污染的主要物源包括工业废水和生活污水、畜禽粪便、农田化肥、底泥等。针对上述污染规律和成因机制 ,提出了相应的调控对策。

The paper studied the relationships between the content of suspended matter in the Yellow River and water quality parameters including COD, Potassium Permanganate Index and BOD_5. The results show that there are shortcomings in monitoring and evaluating water quality in the Yellow River using theses parameters. It indicates that, among the three above-mentioned parameters for reflecting the pollution of the oxygen-demanding organic matters, the BOD_5 can factually reflect the status of organic pollution....

The results show that there are shortcomings in monitoring and evaluating water quality in the Yellow River using theses parameters. It indicates that, among the three above-mentioned parameters for reflecting the pollution of the oxygen-demanding organic matters, the BOD_5 can factually reflect the status of organic pollution. However, the COD and Potassium Permanganate Index obtained either from the turbid water which contains the sediment or from filtered water exaggerate the pollution of the Yellow River. The exaggeration is especially notable in the unpolluted or lightly-polluted reaches of the River. Therefore, the author deems that when using the COD or Potassium Permanganate Index to evaluate the water quality in the Yellow River, it is not suitable to use the measured raw value, but the value which has been calibrated by the "background content of the organic matters in the sediment".

研究了黄河泥沙含量与COD、高锰酸盐指数和BOD5等水质参数间的关系,揭示了当前黄河COD和高锰酸盐指数监测与评价中存在的问题.结果表明,在上述3个描述耗氧有机物污染程度的参数中,BOD5能真实地反映黄河的有机污染状况,而COD和高锰酸盐指数,不论是用含泥沙的浑水样品测得的数值,还是用滤除掉泥沙的清水样品测得的数值,均在相当程度上夸大了黄河的水污染程度.这种夸大作用在未污染和轻污染河段尤为显著.作者认为,在使用COD和高锰酸盐指数等参数对黄河水质进行评价时,不宜使用直接测得的数值,而应使用经"泥沙有机质本底量"校正的数值.

BOD_5 can reflect more truly the pollution of the Yellow River, however, the present measured values of this parameter are 20~50% less than the real values because of the excessive sediment in water samples can deposit at the bottom of the bottle, which will inhibit the process of oxygen consuming, namely, the present BOD_5 values underestimate the pollution of the Yellow River when used to assess the water quality. In view of the above this paper highlighted the solution to the problems. The authors suggest that to use revised values instead of measured values of COD, Potassium Permanganate Index and BOD_5 for assessing water quality. The paper presented the revising formula, discussed the choice of the revising coefficient and validated the exactness of the revising method using case studies.

黄河水泥沙含量高 ,现行的BOD5、COD和高锰酸盐指数测定方法所测结果常不能真实反映其污染状况 .针对上述问题提出在评价黄河水质时 ,不采用COD、高锰酸盐指数和BOD5的实测值 ,而采用经分别校正的数值 ,对COD和高锰酸盐指数而言 ,应从实测值中扣除由泥沙有机质本底量所产生的那部分数值 .对BOD5而言 ,既可通过改进测试操作解决 ,也可通过乘以校正系数以恢复测量过程中受泥沙沉淀影响而降低的那部分数值 .应用校正公式 ,通过案例研究 ,对校正方法的正确性进行了检验
