A lot of data have been collected under different weather conditions, i.e., background, dust, sand-blowing and sandstorm. The rules of sand aerosol particle size distributions are found through statistical analysis.

The process of forming the weather characterized by the surface dust storm bearing yellow sands occurred on 7--8 April 1994 in the Hexi Corridor of Gansu Province,and the results from both the meteorological observation and the determination of atmospheric total suspended particulates (TSP) were reported, along with describing the meteorology and the characteristics of a atmospheric aerosol while a weather of surface dust storm bearing yellow sands being occurred in northwest China. This surface dust storm was centred on the area of Jiayuguan and jiuquan, where it was found to have a TSP concentration of up to 38. 00mg/m3,an indoor TSP level of 8. 63 mg/ m3, a natural dust deposition intensity of 296. 22 t/(km2. month),a cloud of yellow sands raising up to an altitude of about 2000 to 3000 m,and an increase in the levels of main constituting elements such as Si,Al,Ca Fe,Mg,Mn and Ti.The atmospheric contents of yellow sands were being progressively decreased along the line from Jiayuguan, Jiuquan, Jincang, Lanzhou to Beijing as the distance increased.Then,at 2 AM on 11 April,the Haboob phenomenon occurred in most parts of the Gansu Province.It was suggested that in a future study on the dust storm bearing yellow sands,measurements should be made also on the concentration of yellow sand aerosol,the distribution of its particle sizes,the chemical compositions in the particles of different sizes,and the changes in rainbotne soils, rainfall, dust deposition, and air temperature.

报道1994-04-07—1994-04-08河西走廊形成浮尘暴·黄沙天气过程、气象观测和大气总悬浮微粒(TSP)测定结果,说明我国西北地区发生的浮尘暴·黄沙天气的气象及大气气溶胶特点。嘉峪关和酒泉一带是这次黄沙的中心;酒泉等地的TSP浓度高达38.00mg/m3,室内TSP浓度高达8.63mg/m3,自然降尘浓度达296.22t/(km2·月);黄沙云高约2000—3000m;主要组成元素St、Al、Ca、Fe、Mg、Mn和Ti等含量上升;黄沙沿嘉峪关、酒泉、金昌、兰州和北京渐次减少;1994-04-11的2:00在甘肃省大部分地区出现了哈布(Haboob)现象。建议今后对尘暴·黄沙的研究还应测定黄沙气溶胶浓度、粒度分布和不同粒度微粒的化学组成,测定雨土、降水、降尘和气温的变化。

The value of crust elements as a reference material and geochemistry classification are discussed. The enrichment factor of sand aerosol which relate to crust and loess is the highest for absorbent sulphate and sedimental elements. The enrichment factor of mainly absorbent element is also high under dust and sand weather conditions.

春季在贺兰山两侧的内蒙古吉兰泰和宁夏银川机场采集不同沙尘天气条件下的沙尘气溶胶浓度样本 ,用中子活化分析测定3 5种元素浓度 ,揭示了沙尘气溶胶中的元素浓度特征 ,沙尘天气下沙尘气溶胶中地壳元素含量增加 ,且含量随沙尘暴强度增强而增大。讨论了作为参考物质的地壳元素的取值及地球化学分类。沙尘气溶胶相对地壳和黄土的富集因子 ,以亲硫元素和亲沉积层元素为最高。亲地壳元素中的主成分元素在有沙尘天气时 ,其富集因子也偏高。

The pulsations of the component of three dimensions wind, \%u, v\% and \%w\%, under various weather conditions in desert area had been observed by means of the instrument made by Department of Atmospheric Sciences of Nanjing University at the Ji Lantai Station, Inner Mongolia, and the Yinchuan Airport Station on April and May, 1996. We had calculated the turbulent features according to taylor's theory of Turbulent Statistic and Hay and Pasquill's hypotheses, and analyzed the horizontal \%σ\-y\% and vertical \%σ\-z\% of the diffusion coefficients in turbulent flow. Meanwhile, we had preliminarily analyzed the relation of the diffusion coefficient with the numerical density and mass density of surface layer's sand aerosol in sand dust weather combining the observed data by means of Air Dynamics Particle Sizer (spectrometer) Model 3310A made by U.S.A. The results are as follows:①There are the daily variation features \%σ\-y\% and \%σ\-z\% of turbulent diffusion coefficient apparently. Under clear air condition, both the horizontal \%σ\-y\% and vertical \%σ\-z\% of diffusion coefficients reach maximum value at 14 o'clock and minimum values from 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock respectively. Moreover, under sand dust weather the daily variations of \%σ\-y\% and \%σ\-z\% are clearly different from them under clear weather and they are mostly related to the beginning time of sand dust weather. ②The vertical \%σ\-z\% of diffusion coefficient is smaller than the horizontal \%σ\-y\% of diffusion coefficient, and the horizontal \%σ\-y\% of diffusion coefficient is more changeful than the vertical \%σ\-z\% of diffusion coefficient.

1996年 4月和 5月我们分别在内蒙古吉兰泰气象站和银川机场气象台用南京大学大气科学系研制的三分量风速仪 ,观测了各类不同天气条件下沙漠地区三维风速脉动量 u、v和 w,根据 Taylor湍流统计理论及 Hay和 Pasquill的假设 ,统计计算了各湍流特征值 ,计算分析了湍流场中水平风向和垂直风向的大气扩散参数 σy和 σz,并结合美制 APS-3 3 10 A型激光空气动力学气溶胶粒子谱仪的观测结果 ,初步分析了沙尘天气条件下扩散参数与近地层沙尘气溶胶粒子数浓度和质量浓度的关系。
