The longitudinal vibration of marine shaftings is one of the vital factors affecting the safety of ships in sailing. In recent years, a good deal of research has been made on the mechanism of and the calculating methods for the longitudinal vibration of shaftings. How to evaluate the characteristics of the longitudinal vibration of shaftings—namely, what value of amplitude of vibration can be allowed—is an important problem which must be dealt with in the study of longitudinal vibration. Surveying some foreign permissible values of the amplitude of vibration, and giving a theoretical treatment of the fatigue breakdown of crankshafts caused by longitudinal vibration, this paper derives for the criteria of the amplitude of vibration a calculation formula, which is of some practical use to those who are engaged in designing, manufacturing and registering ships.

船舶轴系纵向振动是影响船舶安全航行的重要因素之一,因而,近几年来对轴系纵向振动的机理和计算方法等的研究工作进展较快。如何评价轴系的纵振特性,即纵振产生的振幅或附加应力值为多少才是安全的,这是纵振研究工作中的重要问题。本文首先对国外一些纵振振幅允许值的规定作了分析,然后从防止由纵振引起曲轴疲劳破坏观点出发,从理论上进行了较详细的分析和探讨,最后推导出纵振振幅衡定标准的计算公式。这对船舶设计、制造和验船部门都有一定的实用价值。

The author points out that, for the safety of ships in operation, attention should be paid to the following problems, i.e. constant taken in the stability calculation, rational loading, stability in following waves, shifting cargo, effect of free surface, stability of container and Ro/Ro ships, etc.

本文从船舶航海的实情出发,阐述了船舶稳性的含义及其校核方法;并就适度GM值和纵倾对稳性的影响进行探讨;评论了海协稳性标准(IMCO A.167决议)的欠缺,同时基于安全观点,提出了船舶营运时值得注意的几个问题——常数问题、合理配载、警惕随浪航行、严防货物移动、减少自由液面对稳性的影响以及集装箱船和滚装船的稳性问题。
