Based on the oretical results,a simplified method is prestnted.By using the design procedures with the stability factors _1 derived in this paper as compared with the current design using Spec.TJIT—74 some economical effects can be boosted.Results given in this paper may be taken as a reference in the revision of the specification of steel structure design.
