An active receiving antenna consisting of conical helix antenna and a negative impedance changing circuit is analyzed in this paper.The stable operating condition and designed principle of the active receiving antenna are also given.The analysis shows that the active receiving antenna designed by this method has wider band and higher sensibility and small size.It is a better receiving antenna for multi-frequency electromagnetic wave log.

For electromagnetic wave propagation, steal casing in oil well can be considered as a large diameter wave guide. In order to measure the water holdup accurately, the author invented a wave guide measuring method. The principle of this method is to excite electromagnetic wave in a certain mode at a certain frequency downhole. The receiving antenna detects the attenuation and phase shift of the guided wave. In order to measure the water holdup accurately, the author invented a wave guide measuring method. The principle of this method is to excite electromagnetic wave in a certain mode at a certain frequency downhole. The receiving antenna detects the attenuation and phase shift of the guided wave. And the water holdup is determined accurately according to the difference in electrical properties among water, oil and gas. The feasibility of this measuring method is studied by means of numerical modelling and the measuring characteristics and reliability of this method is verified with the physical simulation test results.

吴锡令.波导测量方法及其可行性研究.测井技术,1998,22(6):416~419对于电磁波的传播而言,油井套管相当于大口径的圆波导。为了准确测量油井的持水率参数,作者研究发明了波导测量方法。波导法是在井下利用发射天线激励一定模式和一定频率的电磁波,利用接收天线检测出导波的衰减和相移,从而根据水与油、气的电特性差异测量持水率参数。通过数值模拟研究了该方法的可行性,并用物理模拟实验结果考察了该方法的探测特性和可靠性。
