It has been shown in earlier papers of the author that space-time FIR filters applied to the. output signals of a linear array antenna can be used to compensate adaptively for the night path component of the platform motion so that a large improvement in signal-to-clutter-plus-noise ratio (SCNR) can be obtained. Such filters are referred to as TASTE (techniques for airborne slow target extraction) methods. In the paper these ideas are extended to the compensation of transversal velocity components by means of a planar array with horizontal orientation. The influence of the system bandwidth is also investigated. The results obtained can be generalized to compensate for three-dimensional perturbations of the flight path without using an inertial navigation device.

In this paper, the sidelobe canceller (SLC) is applied to the two -dimensional clutter suppression for AEW radar, and a new twodimensional multi-beams cancelling method is presented. By properly selecting auxiliary beams, good tolerance and detectability for fast and slow targets are achieved. The results of simulation show that this method has suboptimum performancel however, the computation expense is reduced greatly. These make it have a good prospect for real-time applications.

将部分自适应处理中的旁瓣对消技术应用于机载预警雷达二维杂波抑制的处理,提出了一种二维多波束旁瓣对消的新方法。通过合适地选取辅助波束,使得该方法不仅具有良好的容差性,而且对高低速目标均具有很好的检测能力。计算机仿真结果表明,用该方法处理器性能可逼近最佳,并且,由于该方法对计算量要求大大降低,使其更具有实用性。
