The paper deals with the application of the ripple-tube universal bellows joint on oil tanks and pipelines. The bellows joints, which are good at absorbing the vibration and impact caused by earthquake and the corresponding displacement of oil tanks and pipelines resulting from basement sinking, can avoid disastrous accident.
