The effects of the heat treatment temperature and the cycle temperature upon the thermal fatigue resistance of 3Cr2W8V steel are further studied.The relationships between the thermal fatigue risistance and conventionalmechanical properties are also discussed. It has been shown that the thermalfatigue resistance does not vary with the heat treatment temperature mono-tonously, but instead it depends upon the suitable quenching temperature orthe proper tempering temperature. With the elevation of upper cycle tempe-rature, the thermal fatigue resistance will decrease considerably, There willbe only little change in the above mentioned quenching temperature, howev-er, the tempering temperature will be elevated. Under the given testing con-ditions, the thermal fategue resistance primarily depends on the strength,with adequate combination of the strength and plasticity it can result in aoptimum thermal fatigue resistance.

Effect of thermal cycling on bonding strength of steels in phase-transformation diffusion bonding was studied. The principle of the determination of thermal cycling parameters was discussed by analyzing the effects of cycling temperature, cooling rate and the number of thermal cyclings performed on the diffusion behaviour of alloying elements and joint structures.

析出硬化型热作模具钢2Cr3Mo2NiVSi(简称PH钢)在循环上限温度为650℃时,具有优良的热疲劳性能,循环上限温度为750℃时,热疲劳性能急剧下降。本文着重从PH钢在热疲劳中发生的组织变化,探讨热疲劳性能产生差异的原因,发现热疲劳后的组织变化主要表现在板条结构转变为位错胞或亚晶、碳化物粗化。循环上限温度不同时,PH钢在热疲劳中进行的回复再结晶程度显著不同,说明热稳定性是制约PH钢使用温度的一项重要性能指标。
