营造杨树人工林多是采用大株行距,抚育时需要较高的人工或机械费用。为了提高综合经营水平,在行间种植农作物可以实现多条渠道经济收益。在株、行间进行化学灭草又可以使农作物免耕,林地也不需要单独进行锄草。在杨树人工林行间种大豆施氟乐灵(Trefluralin. Treflan)进行灭草,1982年在本所试验地中测得的施药量3kg/ha(商品量)灭单子叶杂草效果99.4%,双子叶98.4%、总防效83%。特别是灭稗草(E.Crusgalli)效果可达99%—99.6%。根据农业科研单位提供资料施用氟乐灵在大豆田间灭草可使数量提高15%—20%。由于杂草减少,与树木争水争肥的现象也减少。根据1982年在杨树人工林试验地测得平均高生长量与对照区相比增加4%,平均胸径生长量与对照区相比增加8%。杨树人工林施用氟乐灵灭草是林农一举双得的好措施。
