Studies were carried out by hydraulic modeling on flow morphology and particle floatation behaviour conducted by different modes of dams built inside the continuous casting tundish, among which the dual dam is beneficial to the purification of molten steel. Results from productive application of tundishes with such a type of dam are consistent well with those of the hydraulic tests. Considering these factors, a nomogram of the productivity related to slab thickness, casting speed, spray water intensity and depth of liquid pool was prepared so as to selecte reasonably the technological parameters and to control scientifically the operation. 本文论述了连铸坯凝固冷却过程的“冶金标准”。用数学模型从理论上计算了操作参数如拉速、比水量、二冷区水量分布、钢水过热度、液相穴内钢水对流运动和二冷水温度等对连铸坯凝固“冶金标准”的影响。根据计算结果,整理出坯厚、拉速、比水量、液相穴深度和生产率的关系图,这有利于选择合理工艺参数,科学地控制操作。
