The proposed method needs only a series of measured natural frequencies of the structure in intact and damaged states, and is inherently tolerant of measurement error and uncertainties in ambient conditions. The target in the second stage is to indentify the deck segment or section that contains damaged members. A normalized index vector derived from the mode shape curvature is presented for damage localization. The third stage is to indentify specific damaged members and damage extent by using a multi-layer back -propagation neural network. Only the members involved in the identified seg- ment are considered in the network input. The so - called combined modal parameters are formulated for damage extent identification. The results show the strategy proposed is practical for large-scale civil engineering structures.

探讨了钢管混凝土拱桥的损伤诊断方法。考虑到钢管混凝土拱桥结构的复杂性,提出基于桥梁动力特性,结合人工神经网络的3阶段分步法对钢管混凝土拱桥进行损伤诊断,先进行桥梁的异常检测,再确定损伤区段,最后评估构件的损伤程度。建立了三维有限元模型,对江汉三桥进行了动力模拟损伤诊断分析,验证了所述方法的可行性。
