The contradiction between supply and demand of diesel oil for farming is a conspicuous problem which needs to be solved. The departments of Henan Province responsible for farm machinery and oil supply have never made any quantitative analysis of how mush diesel oil is actually needed in agricultural production and do not have knowledge of how things stand. For this reason, th- ere are quite a lot of unreasonable things existing in distribution and utilizatio of diesel oil. The authors have made sampling investigation...

For this reason, th- ere are quite a lot of unreasonable things existing in distribution and utilizatio of diesel oil. The authors have made sampling investigation and practical measure in a number of prefectures, counties and communes of the province during the past of more than one year. On the basis of this, to proceed from the operation quantity of farm machinery, the authors give the calculating model of the amount of diesel oil needed in cultivation, irrigation, transportation and farm by-product processing, thus providing the scientific basis of reasonable diesel oil distribution and utilization for the related departments.

A.The deterioration rate of corn could be determined by the dry matter decom-position of corn which in turn is a function of CO2 production.By using the Beijing's weather condition as an input,the effect of air volume, initial moisture content of corn and grain damage on the deterioration rate of corn was found by computer simulation. The research results may be used for safe storage of corn in our country.
