A multilevel approach of feasible direction for optimum structural design of frame in three dimensions in presented in this paper. Every iterative progress is so divided into system level for overall propotioning of the structure and component level for all active constrains as to reduce the variable numbers in optimization on both level. This approach is better to deal with the difficulties of optimum structural design with mathematical programming caused by large numbers of variables and abse-nces of the explicit function formulas of major constrains and their gradients in the optimum model obtained with the finite element method. For ths component level, a modified method of feasible direction which is especially used for the problems that convex programming combine with concave programming is proposed. For system level, the iterative direction is determinated by the method of feasible direction proposed by Kang Jin-zhang and the iterative step length is determinated approximately. The efficiency, economy, and wide range of application of this approach are demonstrated by giving results.

本文提出的“空间刚架的可行方向多级优化法”,每次迭代,分为临界约束构件子优化和整体结构优化两部分。它可以处理有限元最优设计模型中变量数目多,没有主要约束函数及其导函数显式对数学规划法最优设计带来的问题。子优化采用针对凸凹组合规划问题的改进的可行方向法。整体优化采用康金章的可行方向法计算迭代方向,用近似方法计算迭代步长。算例证明了这个方法效率较高,具有较好的经济性与较广泛的适用性。
