This study was carried out in Shanxi province from 1983 till 1985. This study was carried out in Shanxi province from 1983 till 1985. The results are summarized as follow:The values of two yield stability parameters among some hybrids of maize were considerably different in the regional test of the same year; those of the two yield stability parameters of the other hybrids were either significantly or not significantly different in the regional tests for different years, showing that in different years, under different climate and environmental conditions, these hybrids have different yield stabilities and adaptabilities. The experiment proves that only after the regional test, for three consecutive years can the yield stability of new hybrids be more precisely evaluated.This experiment suggests that the correlation coefficients between mean, yields and stability parameters were nonsignificant (rx-·b = 0.0612, r-x ·r2 = -0.2933 ) . The hybrid yield stability was found associated with the changes of the major agronomic characteristics, especially of the ear characterestics. Among these hybrids, Tai Dan Zao N0.3 was found in the three-year regional test to be a high-yield, stable, and widely adaptable species.This analysis method seems to be an effective tool for breeders to use in studying varietal yield stability and adaptability in the crop variety regional test

During the 1990 cotton variety regional test,a supplementary test was carried out to try the effect of DPC (1,1-dimethylpiperidium chloride)on the entry cultivars. Although interacting effects between DPC treatment and cultivars were observed in several indexes, the varietal effect still predominated; the positions of the three highest yielding entries in the order of their lint yields were not changed by the DPC treatment,and the fiber qualities were not influenced markedly. Thus ,it is feasible...

The breeding process of the new sugarbeet diploid hybrid Shuanfeng 14 is described. This variety was bred by crossing diploid multigerm CMS line Shuangfeng 5 with diploid multigerm lines Shuanfeng 10-6-25 and Shuangfeng 10-6-84. 本文介绍了甜菜新品种双丰14号的选育过程。该品种是二倍体多粒型雄性不育杂交种,其母本为二倍体多粒型双丰5号雄性不育系,父本为二倍体多粒型品系双丰10—6—25和双丰10—6—84。双丰14号品种属于标准型(N)抗病品种,有较强的杂种优势,抗褐斑病性强,适应性广泛。在1987~1989年黑龙江省甜菜品种区域试验中,其平均块根产量、含糖率和产糖量比统一对照品种双丰8号(CK)提高9.8%、0.7度和15.3%;在1990~1992年的生产试验中,其平均块根产量、含糖率和产糖量比CK提高11.3%、0.66度和17.1%。在我国北方地区栽培条件下的种植密度为60000~75000株/公顷。
