Hydrogen embrittlement of stable austenitic stainless steel Cr20Ni25 has been investigated. Crack formation and phase transformation on the surface of the specimens have been observed. It is shown that electrolytic hydrogen charging promotes the transformation of e-martensite on the surface of specimens, the formation of surface crack and the formation of new fcc phase. Transgranular cleavage fracture is shown for the charged layer in tensile specimen. The crack propagates along slip face.The present study...

The transformation of α′-martensite may be not necessary for hydrogen embrittlement of austenitie stainless steel.

The tail gas from the hydrogen reduction process in the manufacturing of polycrys talline silicon is scrubbed with acidic water. The recovered hydrogen, with the CO_2 content in it slightly lower than in electrolytic hydrogen and the content of other gaseous impurities also lowered, can be used for recycling. Compared with other recovering processes, this process is much simpler and more economical.

应用统计力学方法建立的电极过程速度方程,在假定氢析出反应遵循催化机理的前提下,提出吸附氢原子间排斥能估算方案,计算了Ni、Pt、Pd、Cu、Ag、Au等六种面心立方金属电极上氢析出反应~lgi曲线,结果表明,其Tafel斜率b决定于电极表面吸附氢原子间的相互排斥作用,而截距a刚和金属原子半径、晶面点阵排列以及氢的吸附热等因素有关。
