Some preliminary reformations of present frequency shift track circuit are submitted: rejection of series and parallel capacitors, increasing the lead wire resistance and selection of receiving unit. The calculation program and data of the above reformations are listed respectively, together with their ultimate length. With respect to track circuit of length other than ultimate ones, method of adjusting resistance selection is explained: either for the allowance of least ballast resistance or for the allowance of train-shunting sensitivity.
