This paper describe s the results of investigations in chamical compositions and mechanical properties of a new zinc base casting alloys system——Z_(ZnAl27Cu2), Z_(ZnAl22Cul), Z_(ZnAl12Cul) and Z_(ZnAl6Cul). Their mechanical properties in various casting states (Sand Casting, Permanent Mold, Die Casting, Graphite Mold and Centrifugal Casting) have been given.

A carbon fibre reinforced zinc base alloy composite has been fabricated with the liquid-infiltration method. It was concluded that the toughness of matrixes and fibre/matrix bond force influence the fracture behaviour of composites.

碳纤维增强锌基合金复合材料已经用液态渗透法制造出来了,并且进行了拉伸和冲击试验。本文着重对拉伸和冲击断口用扫描电镜和电子探针进行了分析。结果说明纤维与锌或锌合金的界面结合很弱,以致在它们的断口上有大量的纤维拔出。这种复合材料的失效是受基体的解理断裂控制的,所以基体的韧性及纤维和基体的结合力影响复合材料的断裂特性。
