With the construction of some large and medium hydraulic engineering, the research of the evaluation methods of engineering quality of rock masses attract placed more attention. There are various methods for evaluating engineering quality of rock masses. Every method has its application scope, whicn brings confusion in the application. Based on the depiction of present status methods, the principle and application of some intelligent methods, such as fuzzy classification method, extension-element method, neutral network method, fractal method, grey clustering methods, expert system method, is introduced, and the advantage, disadvantage and present status of these methods are analyzed, and the means of estimating mechanical parameters of rock masses are introduced too. At last, the research trend of evaluating engineering quality of rock masses is analyzed and concluded.

为加深对岩体质量分类体系的研究,从模糊分类法、可拓物元法、神经网络法、分形描述法、灰色聚类法、专家系统法等方面介绍了各种岩体质量智能化分类方法的原理与应用,分析了各种分类方法的研究现状及优缺点。最后,分析并总结了岩体质量研究的趋势和发展方向。
