The stress of shell-to-bottom fillet welds is one of the most importan t factors of the safety of large oil tanks. According to the elastic assumption of foundation, we compute the stress of the large oil tank which has the capacit y of 125,000 cubic meters. Comparing the numerical results with test results, we find that they have little algebraic difference. According to this elastic assu mption, we numerically analyse the effect of several important factors to the st ress of shell-to-bottom fillet welds....

The stress of shell-to-bottom fillet welds is one of the most importan t factors of the safety of large oil tanks. Comparing the numerical results with test results, we find that they have little algebraic difference. According to this elastic assu mption, we numerically analyse the effect of several important factors to the st ress of shell-to-bottom fillet welds. These factors are the thickness of the ann ular plate, the width of the annular plate stretching out the lowest course shel l plate, the attachment between the annular plate and the lowest course plate, t he extending width of the inner shell-to-bottom fillet welds.

大角焊缝的应力水平是影响大型油罐安全的重要因素之一。本文运用弹性地基假设,通过对容量为12 .5×10 4 m3储油罐大角焊缝处应力的数值分析,并与实测值比较发现:弹性地基假设条件下,大型油罐整体应力的数值结果与实测应力比较接近。利用这一结果,在同样的假设和建模条件下,分析了边缘板厚度、边缘板外伸长度、内侧焊缝延长长度和设置加强板对大角焊缝处最大峰值应力的影响规律。
